Vice President of Real Estate Development
Majoring in entrepreneurship at Temple University inspired Dylan to buy a food truck, creating his own internship. Soon he expanded “Chilly Dilly’s,” procuring employees and three more trucks. It was then that he encountered challenges and adjusted his business model. He turned to catering, securing corporate accounts in the York area where he grew up.
Next he launched SunSno, a mobile, solar-powered ice cream and shaved ice business. By this point, he had 16 employees, six trucks, and four snowball locations as well as a stand at Central Market. Despite these successes, Dylan chose to better utilize his community connections by pursuing a career in Real Estate. In 2012 he was hired as a Brokerage Advisor for ROCK Commercial Real Estate working as a representative for Downtown York landlords and regionally as a tenant representative for retailers such as Just Cabinets and Tropical Smoothie Cafe.
Procuring tenants for retail and restaurant spaces gave Dylan insight into the market and the potential of diverse properties. This fueled a passion for revitalizing York City.
When asked to lead Royal Square Development & Constructions’ acquisition and development arm, he became a partner, using his vision and expertise to better the community. Dylan also volunteers locally, teaching entrepreneurship at York College and to high school students, and advises food & beverage start-ups through SCORE.
