President and CEO
Throughout his career, Josh has consistently driven purposeful redevelopment. While serving in the Army in Baltimore, Josh was inspired by its urban revitalization to purchase and transform a three-unit dwelling. Thus began a pattern of buying and renovating buildings, which motivated him to return to his native York County in 2009 to launch Susquehanna Renovations, now Royal Square Development and Construction. There, he built a team that specialized in renovating multi-unit buildings and set his focus on the revitalization of his hometown.
Six years later, he has merged this talent with community activists and garnered like-minded partners. By empowering them and encouraging local creative entrepreneurship, Josh has propelled RSDC to the forefront of the greatest urban renaissance in York’s history.
As Managing Partner of more than 14 real estate investment portfolios, Josh oversees 71 properties in three states, 63 of which are in York City. He is passionate about revitalizing urban areas, such as RSDC’s redevelopment of twenty-two buildings on the 100 blocks of East King and South Duke streets in York, resulting in the comprehensive revitalization of an entire neighborhood which is now referred to as the Royal Square District.
A resident of York City, Josh is a member of six community organizations. He is the current President of the Board of Directors for The Parliament Arts organization and serves on the boards of Better York, the Salvation Army and the Pennsylvania Arts Experience. He also is an active member of the York Counts Initiative and the Economic Development Committee for Downtown Inc.
