As the Director of Real Estate Development at Royal Square Development and Construction (RSDC) - Nate Englar identifies, originates, and executes innovative real estate development projects centered around the mission of creating sustainable growth within Downtown York and the surrounding communities.   

In his 5+ years of real estate development experience, Nate has managed, strategized, and consulted on dozens of real estate development projects throughout the Mid-Atlantic region.  Particularly adept in the realm of Real Estate Finance - Nate has a proven track record raising millions in debt, equity, and grant capital for catalytic projects and businesses - creating stronger communities, ecosystems, and economies along the way. 

Prior to joining the team at RSDC – Nate served as Founder and CEO of his start-up cohesive, a consulting agency dedicated to supporting the healing, growth, and development of small cities and towns.  Guided by this mission, cohesive provided consulting support for small cities, small businesses, and local real estate developers within Central Pennsylvania. 

Outside of these professional achievements, Nate, alongside members of his family, owns and operates Handel's Homemade Ice Cream in York, PA – a staple of the York community for decades. 

Nate is a graduate of Thomas Jefferson University in Philadelphia, PA – holding an M.S. in Real Estate Development, as well as Bachelor's degrees in both Accounting and Finance.
