The Royal Square District began in 2008 with the renovation of four properties on a blighted block in the central business district of York, PA.  This neighborhood has since become a  burgeoning arts district, with over 40 renovated residences and 23 new businesses, aptly named Royal Square in reference to its encompassing streets of King, Duke, Queen, and Princess.
